Hi, I’m Maurice Cardinal, the owner of Visibility Spectrum, a boutique media communication agency for Alternative Agriculture Farmers, and food producers.

My Farmer is My Friend
I was the Marketing and Partnership Manager for Verge Permaculture, one of the longest running private alternative agriculture educators in North America. Before Verge, I owned a media communication agency for twenty plus years.
I’ve produced several Alt-AG videos;
Over a decade ago I was the Business Development & Communications Officer for the BC Salmon Marketing Council, and more recently VP Business Development & Communications for one of the most advanced IMTA inland wild fish farming operations in Canada.
I’ve also been a trusted source for the CBC and other news companies, and wrote Leverage Olympic Momentum, a growth-hacking book that created DISRUPTION RECIPES used by businesses like lululemon and Scotiabank who very effectively leveraged their visibility in Olympic regions.
In an early career, I co-managed Canadian legend Anne Murray. I was her Tour Manger during the peak of her career, and got to hang out with great Americans like Willie Nelson, and also the ex-director of the CIA who happened to be a piano player and U.S. President at the time. Who knew? I’ve also worked projects with two other U.S. Presidents and their teams, although one hadn’t served yet.

My families on both sides were farmers and practiced various forms of traditional and alternative agriculture. That’s my Mom holding the bridle, the family Horse Whisperer. I also had my own Alt-AG homestead back in the day.
I’ve managed projects in almost every corner of the world and have considerable experience writing stories and producing video to illuminate critical eco and environmental issues.
Since 2014, I’ve researched, produced, and written about blockchain, cryptocurrency, tech projects and campaigns at the institutional level, and for commercial and Fine Arts globally.
Over the years I’ve produced high visibility projects viewed by millions in partnership with and/or sponsored by CBC, CBS, WIRED, and countless other news publishers and organizations, as well as Fortune 100 and 500 companies.
My focus today is about helping independent farmers and community gardeners thrive in Alternative Agriculture… Alt-AG.
