Why a KITCHEN?

A kitchen is a perfect place to TALK FOOD.

Rich or poor, everyone eats, and almost everyone cooks. Sometimes our home-cooked SIGNATURE DISH… is the only recipe we know haha, but WOW, is it GOOD! and are we ever proud of it!

A kitchen is where we connect on a gut level with nourishing healthy food and drink. It’s a MAJOR RUSH for most people to know that the food they’re cooking was grown responsibly. Personally, I still get an emotional bump knowing that the simple pleasure of eating, also helps heal the earth in a way that’s easy to measure–and especially FEEL.

Even the most CHILL PERSON ON EARTH who sincerely wants to do something good for our environment, but feels tapped-out at the end of each day, can feel great knowing that the food and drink they just consumed, has a positive impact on the earth and climate. Responsible farming and EATING helps cool the earth.

Alt-AG like permaculture and regenerative hits all the nodes from taste, to nutrition, and soil health.

Organic … can’t make that claim about soil health unless it adopts generative strategies, and this critical point is not lost on smart consumers will to pay premium prices hoping to improve climate issues.

YES! Of course ORGANIC is healthy for YOU, but it doesn’t protect or heal the earth. Consumers are much smarter today. They do substantial research, and sometimes know more than farmers about nutrient density and carbon numbers.

The perception that LOCAL permaculture and regeneratively-grown food is BETTER THAN ORGANIC puts CRUNCHY meters into overdrive and carries a lot of weight at a grassroots level.

All you have to do is EAT & DRINK REGEN, and you’ll get an endorphin rush so strong you won’t be able to wait for the next bite…

As a grower, it doesn’t matter if your Alt-AG style is organic, regenerative, permaculture, biodynamics, agroforestry, IMTA or anything in between. Most of these processes are similar enough to borrow the best from each and MASH it so it works for consumers.

When it comes to food-customers in our modern era, socially responsible home cooks and well-known chefs, plus the people eating (you and I), care just as much about how food is grown and its carbon footprint and climate impact as we do for how it tastes!

Food consumers are radically smarter today then a decade ago, and if you don’t at the very least try to meet their expectations, you’ll be burnt toast and miss incredible opportunity.

The great thing about food promotion today is that a farmer and grower of any type can easily reach out and connect with the end user–the person eating your products.
